crazy football fans

Soccer is religion in Argentina. People breath FOOTBALL. We had to go to a game while we were there. What an experience that was. People are on their feet the whole game yelling singing and screaming. I sure did learn lots of new curse words. The game was between two rivals, Boca Juniors and River Plate. Although almost the whole stadium was rooting for Juniors they lost. Fans were almost crying, yelling and screaming at the opposition fans behind the glass box. If it weren't for cops with guns they would have broke the glass and started a fight. Coming into the game you are not allowing anything. no change, no lipstick, spare batteries. I guess fans have tendencies to throw things in the field if they don't like a play.
